We went for lunch we were made very welcome I had steak and kidney pudding with 4 different types of veg mash potatoes gravy on the plate and extra gravy in a gravy boat my better half she had the chicken curry with rice a pompodom with Mango chutney wow that was gorgeous and a ample portion we had to squeeze in a dessert of cookie cake and cream raspberry, blackberry,apple crumble and ice-cream I would recommend this pup it was great definitely go back thanks to the staff
Just rating drinks today. Have had meals but not for a while. Always great selection of real ales some straight from barrel. Also mini beer festival at the moment. Large gin list now as well. Great place to meet up
A group of us had a marvellous Sunday lunch here. The roast dinners were delicious and all cooked perfectly. Lovely atmosphere and log fire. Thank you.
Great pub. Traditional appearance and very cosy. Lovely food and a wide selection of beers and gin.
