My favourite fish and chip shop ever.. I very often go here even though it's 20miles from my home. I can however only comment on the sausages! As these are all I've had. Definitely worth a try if you never had. Sausages are big and meaty and either battered or un-battered. My recommendation would be to try both as both are quite different
Here on holiday for a week. Possibly the worst fish & chips Ive ever had. The reviews on here must be friends or family.The only reason I knew it was fish was by the shape of it. Batter soaked with fat and fish inside was watery.The chips were actually vile, soggy and left a layer of grease on your lips that could only be wiped off with a wet wipe. The taste of the chips was like nothing Id ever experienced and dont want to ever again.If you served this up in London, youd shut within 3 months.Had to give it 1 star to be able to leave a review, I would give it 0 if I could.
Really lovely chips, Fish is very nice and chunky and the fish cakes are lovely too. Very friendly staff, especially busy on a Friday evening. Near and local to us which is very useful.
