Beautiful little church, with some nice flint work around the porch. There's a carved wooden face just inside the porch to the left, on one of the beams. There are several 17th century tomb stones near the altar in amazing condition. The font has some lovely carvings around it. The church was supposedly built on the location of an early Saxon cemetery. In the Victorian period several barrows and earthworks associated with this settlement, along with several Saxon cremation urns, were found
